Retaining Wall Block Estimator
Estimate segmental retaining wall blocks, cap units, drainage gravel, and leveling pad for a straight-run retaining wall.
Limitations: Assumes a straight rectangular wall. Curved walls, stepped foundations, stepped tops, terraced walls, soil reinforcement geogrid, and engineered walls over 4 ft are outside scope. Does not include filter fabric, perforated drain pipe, or adhesive for caps.
What to do next: Walls over 4 ft typically require an engineered design with geogrid reinforcement. Always install on a compacted aggregate leveling pad. Include a perforated drain at the base of the drainage gravel.
