Limitations: Rectangular pieces only. Curves, waterfall edges, seamed corners, apron fronts, and sink cutouts are not subtracted. Natural stone and quartz fabricators charge from slab yield, not net area.
What to do next: Standard kitchen counter depth is 25.5 in (24 in cabinet + 1.5 in overhang). Most fabricators require 10–20% overage for stone slabs, since usable yield is limited by slab size. Confirm slab dimensions (often 55×120 or 65×130) before ordering.
